Hmm - most of the books you listed, am not familiar with...except for Jennifer Crusie *grin*.
But this is easy challenge and am sure I be able to find a book requirement ;) ;)
Great TTs! I did mine this week!

I have not read any of them! Like Julia, I'm not familiar with some names except...let's see... Isaac Asimov, Michael Crichton, Jennifer Crusie, Ray Bradbury & Clive Cussler... I'm looking forward to reading your reviews on them.
It's increasingly hard to find fiction of mid-length. The big NY pubs seem to like lots of padding!
Good luck with the under 250 challenge :)

Julia, this challenge should be right up your alley, since you've been having trouble finding time to read.
Melody, LOL! You recognized almost half of them. Maybe I shouldn't have stuck to the beginning of the alphabet--they seem pretty heavily skewed toward sf/f and mystery--back to my reading roots.
Wylie, I've actually read 2 books already this month that fit the challenge-women's fiction is often shorter length, as is YA fiction. And of course a lot of ebooks are shorter, too.
KC, they're mostly older, but you can click on the titles and see if any of them sound appealing to you. :)

Great books! I remember reading Martian Chronicles when I was in high school. Heh! Good luck with your challenge! ;)
I've read Martian Chronicles but that's about it. I'm amazed at how much you read Darla - it's a real skill. You are a gifted reviewer as well. Could you make a living doing it? Stars and Strips?
Happy TT!

Ooh, Taltos. I can't remember if I've read that or not, but I've got Yendi and Teckla here, waiting for me.
I have seen that challenge floating around. I think if I'd planned for it, I'd have joined in. After a killer May, when I read 11 books, I have yet to finish a June book. :(

Thanks for visiting mine...just a warning...I had RK about 8 years ago and my vision regressed to the point where I need glasses for distance again. It's still better than needing to reach for glasses just to see the clock by the bed!
I've read a few Clive Cusslers lately - I've always enjoyed a good spy novel, so I was delighted to find them on the giveaway shelf at my local library (whose selection of English books is severely limited).
I've heard of a few like Clive Cussler, Ray Bradbury and Michael Crichton, but the rest would be new to me.
The novel 'Eaters of the Dead' is one by MC, that I haven't read, so Thank you Darla.

Thanks, Claudia--the problem is (setting aside whether S&S would even be interested in the idea) that I'm chronically behind, and I suspect if I HAD to write reviews, I'd freeze up.
Robin, that's a good find--Cussler's books are so much fun.
Ann, don't hold your breath. Crusie's not about to give anyone permission to reprint Sizzle. :)
Robin, Eaters of the Dead was renamed The Thirteenth Warrior. It's the book the movie was made from, and they didn't like "Eaters of the Dead" for the movie, so they changed the book name so people who liked the movie could find the book. I think the latest version is changed back, but I'm not positive.

What a cool set of books. I love the idea of reading shorter novels...a good idea for the weather too or holidays.
Interesting list, I've read 3 and 11 (I think- I went through a Cussler phase a while back), and have heard of most of the rest of them. Good luck with the reading challenge.
Interesting choice of books; Crichton's Eaters of the Dead is a good revamp of the Beowulf story, and better than McTiernan's The 13th Warrior.
Fun blog, keep it up! :)
