TT #132

On a Wall at Dilsberg

When Dagny and Curran were here, we went to the walled town of Dilsberg. Camden didn't come along--he was off with friends. Since we'd been there before, I just took random pictures until one of the kids suggested I snap pictures of the various plants growing on the walls.

Turns out we hadn't taken pictures when we were there before, or if we had, I didn't post them anywhere or Carl took pix that are still stored on his camera. But if you click on the link above, you can see a little more of the city.

You can always click on the pictures to see a larger version.

Oh, what lovely flowers. Your pictures make me want to visit. Happy TT!

Those are growing OUT of the wall? That says so much (and darn it, I think you've just inspired some fiction. Sadly, it'll have to keep. But man, the idea of unworldly boys staring at the plants and contemplating man's place in the world... that tempts.)

Love those wall pictures! And always enjoy seeing your lovely family together too :)

Hmmm. Yes, the plants are growing out of cracks in the wall, rather than being vines growing up the wall. It's a very old wall. :)

Susan, I'd love to see what you come up with.
