Monday Morning Meme
Non-fiction Meme
Melody tagged me for this meme, created by Gautami from My Own Little Reading Room.
a) What issues/topic interests you most--non-fiction, i.e, cooking, knitting, stitching, there are infinite topics that has nothing to do with novels?
Sociology, history, politics, the occasional biography.
b) Would you like to review books concerning those?
I do review them when I read them.
c) Would you like to be paid or do it as interest or hobby? Tell reasons for what ever you choose.
Probably rather not be paid for it--I have so much trouble keeping up with reviewing the books I read, and being required to do it would add a layer of pressure to the pressure I already put on myself to keep up. In addition, my "reviews" are strictly opinion pieces. They're not professional or critical reviews--something I have no interest at all in writing.
d) Would you recommend those to your friends and how?
I'm going to steal Melody's answer here: "Of course I will if the books are good. It makes me feel good to share some good books with friends. How? Through my reviews or better still, give them as a gift." In other words, I'd treat them the same as fiction books.
e) If you have already done something like this, link it to your post.

f) Please don't forget to link back here or whoever tags you.

Darla - that no surprise to me that you read non-fiction books :) And you've done good job doing the reviews on them too. *thumb up*!
Darla, thanks for playing. :) Your ability to read so many books (and of all genres) always amazes me, and I enjoy reading your opinions as I find most of them refreshing.
As usual, I babble incoherently (and tardily, I might add). Thanks for the tag, was much fun to think about what I read besides what's on wikipedia for the day.
