BTT #23

Note: scroll down for the ThursdayThirteen.

Booking Through Thursday

School Days, Golden Rule Days:

Since school is out for the summer (in most places, at least), here’s a school-themed question for the week:
  1. Do you have any old school books? Did you keep yours from college? Old textbooks from garage sales? Old workbooks from classes gone by?
  2. How about your old notes, exams, papers? Do you save them? Or have they long since gone to the great Locker-in-the-sky?

  1. I don't think I have any left. No, wait. There may still be some in the closet of the spare room in our house in San Antonio. I seem to recall a logic textbook and an accounting text. I know I intended to get rid of them, but I don't remember if I did or not. For certain, if I didn't, I will when we get back. There are a few non-textbooks from college--paperbacks I had to read for one class or another. Nietzsche, Jung, Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance, etc.
  2. Now, those, I got rid of. Finally. I dragged the boxes around for years until I finally realized, move before last, that I just kept dragging the boxes around and they'd never been unpacked once.

Darla, LOL about dragging the boxes around. I kept my notes papers and stuff inside a red chest box. That box never get open but only once a few times in years. It sure does bring back memories though.

What does Nietzsche and Jung mean?

For a while I had stuff stored in my parent's garage. But then they were moving. I ended up throwing out some. I still hung on to my Spanish lit books and a few history texts from Latin American history. I was a Spanish major and knew my aunt who is a professor of Italian and speaks Spanish would happily store them for me. I live in an apartment. I'm teaching myself to throw away!

Here you go, Julia:
Nietzsche
Jung

I have one blue box left of papers I've been dragging around and not unpacking. I really need to toss it out before our next move. Happy belated BTT.

Oh so Nietzsche and Jung is the name of person. I thought it was just a word :) And very interesting facts on both of them
