BTT #15

Late this week. Sorry about that.
Note: scroll down for the ThursdayThirteen.

Booking Through Thursday

Seasonal reading:
  1. Does what you read vary by the season? For instance, Do you read different kinds of books in the summer than the winter?
  2. If so, do you break it down by genre, length of book, holiday, or...?

  1. No, not at all. I read randomly from my TBR pile regardless of the season. I can see the logic behind saving big thick books for when there's plenty of uninterrupted reading time, but I simply don't do that.
  2. Occasionally for a book discussion or a TBR challenge, I'll read a book that fits the season or a holiday, but without some outside influence, there's no change.

I really should do this challenge. It looks like fun. TOo bad it is on Thursday!

I don't read in season. I just read, baby!

LOL! Well, as you see, I don't always manage to get to it on Thursdays, either. :)

Darla, am normally bad at keeping up with our book discussion and TBR challenge *duck head* LOL !

But I normally just read vary of books in any given days. I don't base it on season

Happy Belated BTT! :)

Hi Darla,
I found your blog through JCF and I have enjoyed reading your reviews. I'm curious when you say that you read randomly from your TBR pile. Do you just take the next book in line no matter what it is?

As for your question, I read whatever I feel like no matter what the season. Of course, I usually read the newest books (meaning the ones I preordered and am on pins and needles waiting for) first.

Oh, a fellow Cherry! Nice to see you, Nancy. :)

My TBR pile actually has several stacks, so about twice a month, I take one book from each stack to read in the next couple weeks. That way, I read some that have been there forever, and some newer ones as well.

More than you wanted to know, huh? LOL

That was exactly what I wanted to know LOL. I like the idea actually. My TBR is huge and some of the books get lost. Thanks!
Nancy
