Booking Through Thursday

Writing in Books, Part 3:
  1. Speaking of writing in books, what about writing the entire thing? Do you write? Aspire to write? Dream about writing?
  2. If you do write, do you do it for yourself, or because you hope to be published? (Or because you ARE published?)

  1. I've always written stories, but mostly what happens is that I write enough of the story to know how it's going to turn out, then I lose interest. One of these days, though, I want to actually finish something--if nothing else, just to know I can do it.
  2. At the moment, it's strictly because I've got an idea I want to explore. Should I ever finish something, though, I'd probably want to pursue publication.

I'm sorry for my senior moment, but I can't find the comment link for the 13 below. :(

You know the new Dresden book comes out in April? I can't wait. Are you watching the series on Sci Fi?

Weird. I noticed that on somebody else's blog earlier today.

Yep, I know about White Night. It's very good. LOTS of questions answered.

*sigh* No Sci Fi channel here. :(

Commenting on your Thursday Thirteen.

Thanks for the author recommendations! I'll pass them along to my humans. I know my mom enjoys reading fantasy, historical fiction, sci-fi and mystery, so some of these authors might interest her.

Thanks for visiting!

What a great idea for a Thursday Thirteen! I've found so many great writers completely by accident like that. It's neat to draw all the lines. Wonderful list.

I love The Dresden Files. I've been trying to get my hands on Storm Front with no luck. I'm going to have to order it.

Hmmm weird, last night I saw the comment link and I know I even comments on it, and now it not even there. But am sure you know because otherwise my blog link weren't be on the links to other Thursday thirteens! link. Anyway again wonderful list!

Now as for your Booking Through Thursday ...WOW I didn't know you've written a stories! That is new to me! How many are there, written? ;) I think it'll be interesting to see your stories publication. It be good!

Happy BTT!

Commenting on TT! Great list and awesome that you can track how you discovered new authors like that. I know I've discovered new authors from reading other books, but my memory's too bad to keep track of it.

Happy TT!

This is a great idea for a list! I'm not sure mine would be quite as coherent as yours. ;-)

I remember deciding I needed to check out Jenny because someone (Allison Kent?) had made a comment on their blog that she was just as nice in real life as she seemed when she was presenting at a conference. Becoming a cherry has led to some other interesting life developments, too. :)

Coooooool, I love book lists. Thanks.

I couldn't find the comment link either. I really like the list of favorite authors. I love Christine Feehan's books and I've read every single one of them. They are all great! :)

Weird. My comment link got turned off last night, too, on my TT. Which you saw when you visited and couldn't leave a comment! (Which is why I'm glad you signed Mr. Linky!)

I LOVE your TT today; it flows beautifully from one author to another. What a cool reading oddessy you've been on.

Of course, now you've got me hoping I'll wind up on a list like this one day!

GO, GO, GO!!! I hope this will inspire you, Darla! ;)

Happy BTT!
