January's TBR Challenge

The TBR Challenge for January is to choose a book with an address in the title. You can be as creative as you like in defining 'address,' but be prepared to explain.

I read Thieves' World, an anthology of sorts edited by Robert Lynn Asprin & Lynn Abbey. It had been in my TBR pile for probably a couple of years. It's the first in a series of fantasy anthologies, in which the stories all take place in the same place and with the same cast of characters but are written by different sf/f authors. Kind of like the Mossy Creek books Deborah Smith edited a couple of years back, only fantasy instead of contemporary fiction/romance.

Anyway, I'd read a couple of the later books in the series already, initially not realizing that Tales from the Vulgar Unicorn was part of a series, and then when I read Shadows of Sanctuary, not realizing I had the first of the series in my TBR pile (or vice versa--I don't remember which one I read first).

So the TBR challenge was a good excuse to dig this one out and read it. Lots of fun, and it was interesting to confirm some things I'd only suspected based on the other books. I have 3 or 4 more books from this series in my TBR pile--I'll make sure to read them in order this time.

Hi Darla,

Off topic, but I popped a question for you & Gabriele over at my blog. If you have the time and inclination, could you come take a look? Thanks.
