Friday's Mini Poll #12
Tomorrow night is the LRMC Holiday Ball. I have mixed feelings. I really wanted to go last year, but we couldn't get tickets. This year I've gained weight, have less energy, and I think I'm coming down with a cold.
This is what we looked like two years ago. It's a horrible picture of me, but that's true of any picture of me, so...
This year, the sparkly dress is a bit more snug. I've got a new dress--matte black, long sleeves, cleavage (I had to get a new bra for it)--but it's kind of plain, and I'm not in love with it. Carl still hasn't gotten new dress blues--he says it's because they're coming out with a new style, but I think it's because he doesn't like going to the tailor--so if he wears a uniform, it'll have to be the Class As, like in the picture. Some of his soldiers are wearing civilian suits, and that's what he wants to wear, so he doesn't have to mess around with pinning all the stuff to his uniform.
We still haven't completely decided what to wear... Well, except for those cute shoes I just bought, and the evening bag my mother-in-law gave me last year for my birthday.

Darla - have fun at the LRMC Holiday Ball! I think you would look fab in black dress :) Not sure about your husband but I think he would look nice either way he chose :)
